Product Overview - Anti-Static HPL

Product Overview

Anti-Static HPL is an engineered high-pressure laminate incorporating conductive materials throughout its structure to provide permanent electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. Manufactured using specialized conductive carbon fibers or metallic particles blended into the kraft paper layers, then laminated with modified phenolic resin under controlled pressure (100-120 kg/cm²) and temperature (140-160°C). The result is a homogeneous panel with surface resistivity of 10^6 to 10^9 Ω (static-dissipative range per ANSI/ESD S20.20), ensuring controlled discharge of static electricity without risk of sparks or equipment damage. Static decay time is less than 2 seconds, meeting stringent ESD requirements for electronics manufacturing. The conductive network remains stable throughout the product lifespan (15+ years), unaffected by humidity, temperature variations, or surface wear. Available in thicknesses from 0.6mm to 1.5mm for surface laminates, and 6mm to 25mm for compact panels. Ideal for cleanroom workbenches, electronics assembly lines, data center server racks, telecommunications equipment rooms, and any environment handling static-sensitive components. Meets international ESD standards including IEC 61340-5-1, ANSI/ESD S20.20, MIL-STD-1686, and GB/T 14437. Surface finish options include matte and textured for optimal ergonomics and light reflection control.

Applications - Anti-Static HPL

Applications

Electronics Manufacturing & Assembly Lines

Heavy Use

Critical for semiconductor fabrication facilities, PCB assembly plants, and electronics manufacturing where ESD can damage sensitive components. Used for workbench surfaces, tool carts, shelving, and flooring in cleanroom environments (Class 10 to Class 100,000). The static-dissipative surface (10^6-10^9 Ω) safely channels static charges to ground without generating sparks. Typical installations include SMT assembly benches, chip testing stations, quality inspection tables, and component storage areas. Protects microprocessors, memory chips, sensors, and other ESD-sensitive devices during handling and assembly. Meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements for EPA (ESD Protected Area) compliance. Compatible with wrist straps and grounding systems. Resists solvents, flux, and cleaning chemicals used in electronics production. Common in consumer electronics, automotive electronics, aerospace avionics, and medical device manufacturing.

Data Centers & Server Rooms

Medium to Heavy Use

Essential for data center raised floor tiles, server rack work surfaces, and network equipment installation areas. Static discharge can corrupt data, damage server components, or cause network failures. The anti-static surface protects during server maintenance, hard drive replacement, and network card installation. Used for technician workbenches, equipment staging areas, and cable management surfaces. Typical applications include server rack shelves, maintenance carts, tool storage cabinets, and floor access panels. Maintains ESD protection in low-humidity environments common in climate-controlled data centers. Meets telecommunications industry standards for equipment handling. Popular in cloud computing facilities, colocation centers, enterprise data centers, and telecommunications central offices.

Pharmaceutical & Biotech Cleanrooms

Medium Use

Required in pharmaceutical manufacturing cleanrooms and biotech laboratories where static can attract particulates or interfere with sensitive analytical equipment. Used for laboratory benches, equipment stands, and storage cabinets in controlled environments. The static-dissipative surface prevents dust attraction that could contaminate sterile products. Typical installations include drug formulation workstations, sterile compounding areas, quality control labs, and analytical instrument tables. Compatible with pharmaceutical-grade cleaning agents and disinfectants. Meets GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements for cleanroom furniture. Chemical resistance handles common lab solvents and reagents. Applications include tablet manufacturing, injectable production, biologics processing, and medical device assembly.

Telecommunications Equipment Rooms

Medium Use

Mandatory for telecom equipment installation and maintenance areas where network hardware requires ESD protection. Used for equipment racks, patch panel surrounds, technician workbenches, and tool storage in central offices and cell tower equipment shelters. Static discharge can damage router cards, optical transceivers, and signal processing modules. Typical applications include fiber optic termination benches, network switch installation surfaces, and radio equipment maintenance areas. Protects during installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure. Meets Telcordia (Bellcore) standards for network equipment handling. Durable surface withstands frequent equipment moves and cable routing. Common in 5G base stations, fiber optic hubs, satellite ground stations, and ISP network operation centers.
