What makes your fireproof HPL different from standard HPL?

Our fireproof HPL uses enhanced phenolic resin formulations and specialized core materials to achieve Class A fire rating (flame spread index ≤25). It maintains structural integrity at high temperatures and produces minimal smoke, making it ideal for hospitals, schools, and high-rise buildings.
Can HPL be used outdoors?

Yes, our Exterior Decorative Compact Board is specifically designed for outdoor use with UV resistance and weather protection. Standard HPL is recommended for interior applications only.
How do I choose the right thickness for my application?

Thickness selection depends on your application: 0.6-1.5mm for surface lamination, 2-6mm for vertical applications like wall panels, 6-12mm for countertops and furniture, and 12-25mm for structural applications like toilet partitions and exterior cladding.
What is the difference between HPL and Compact Board?

HPL (High Pressure Laminate) is a thin decorative surface layer typically bonded to a substrate, while Compact Board is a solid, self-supporting panel made entirely of layers of kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin. Compact Board is thicker, more durable, and can be used structurally without additional support.
